We have left the Lake District behind and today set off on our second last walk in England and Wales. More exciting, we have a day off tomorrow in Carlisle to look forward to. The walk itself is another road walk as we head up the river. There is an opportunity to walk on the riverbank in the last third of the walk, however, it would be miles we do not need to do as we have already walked this section. Previously, we comp eted the Hadrians Wall walk from Bowness to Newcastle so see no need to do the River section again. The weather look s set to be fair, with a threat of rain late in the afternoon. Ca Sera!
