We moved on to the St David's Peninsula yesterday, over-nighting at Caerfai. Today we continue along the bottom edge of the peninsula to the headland at Ramsey Sound, looking over to Ramsey Island. Continuing round the headland we move up the other side of the peninsula to begin the tough three-day hike to Fishguard. Today's walk finishes at a campsite at Pwll-caerog. It is only just after 7.00am and already the sun is very hot and the skies clear blue. The walking here is tough in the heat without being arduous, constantly rolling country -side with what feel like regular steep -sides gullies and lots of steps.
